L.L. Bean Flyers

Created with Adobe Illustrator

I was given the challenge of crafting a six-word story that could encapsulate both emotion and brand identity, and I chose "After the Storm It Was Calm." For the first flyer, I focused on typography, letting the story shape the layout and design to convey a sense of tranquility and resilience. This initial piece sparked the idea to expand the concept into a series of three ads for L.L. Bean—a brand that truly embodies the spirit of weathering any condition.

For the trio of flyers, I drew inspiration from L.L. Bean’s earthy color palette, adding subtle pops of color to highlight their outdoor gear. I paid close attention to creating a sense of movement across each design, guiding the viewer’s eye and amplifying the series’ dynamic energy. This project quickly became one of my favorites, as it allowed me to merge my love for the outdoors with my passion for design.
